Journeys
Journeys is a new programme which is being introduced in High Kirk. It is a 5 week course, which looks at some foundational aspects of faith, primarily through the eyes and lives of people who have experienced its power and influence over their lives. It is structered in an informal way where the attendees meet to have tea/coffee and some tray bakes or a dessert before watching a DVD presentation followed by a group discussion.
Each session is presented by a New Zealander called Rob Harley who is a journalist and produced a television series, Extreme Close Up, which has been aired on some Sky TV channels.
The course deals with the questions that people who aare looking into the Christian faith from a modern-day culture most commonly want to know more about.
Journeys will be held on Wednesday evenings in the Minor Hall and the details are as follows:-
