Location PDF Print E-mail

High Kirk is located on the northern side of Ballymena, just outside the town centre. It is on the corner of Thomas Street and Glendun Drive, just beside the "People's Park". The red brick tower can be seen through the trees from the nearby Fairhill Centre, or across the Park from its Ballymoney Road entrance.

Church History PDF Print E-mail

High Street churchIn 1769 Scottish preachers established preaching stations at Kirkinriola and the Braid on the outskirts of Ballymena. In 1822 the congregation moved into Ballymena and a new church was opened in 1824.
