ATTENTION PARENTS –Registration for all Youth and Children’s Organisations Immediately after this morning’s service there is another opportunity to complete a Registration and Multipurpose Consent Form for your child/children attending any of our Youth/Children’s organisations in the church this year. Forms and pens are available on the tables in the McCaughey Hall. Please don’t leave this morning without having completed yours.
Ignite will recommence tonight (13th September). This year anyone from Year 9 upwards are very welcome to come along.
All session and committee members please pick up minutes and agenda from the folder on the information desk today. Please note the congregational committee meeting will be in the Sanctuary at 7.45 pm on Thursday 24 September.

Silver Link – It’s that time of year again. Silver Link will be starting again on Thursday 24 September at 1 pm. We are looking forward to seeing all our existing members coming back and to welcoming some new members. If you are sixty years or over and would like to join us, please come along to enjoy a lunch and an after-lunch speaker and great fellowship. Pastoral Care WG – Tuesday 29th September at 7.30 pm (Conference Room).
Calling all past members of the Girls' Brigade –a warm welcome is extended to the next meeting of Girls' Brigade Past Members which will be on held on Tuesday 29th September, 2009 at 7.30 p.m. in the Minor Hall when we will hear about the work of Radio Cracker.
Can you help GB? The Brigader section are doing indoor bowling as part of their badgework this year. Would you have any spare bowls that you could lend on Tuesday nights? We are also learning about recycling. Would you have any old scraps of material, buttons, ribbon etc? If you can help with either of these, please contact Diane at the church office.
Office Assistant – a vacancy has occurred in the Church Office for an office assistant, 10 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Details and Job Application forms are available from the Church Office. Closing date for applications: 12.30 pm on Friday 25th September 2009.
Anyone who has 2nd hand BB or GB uniform items is asked to return them to a leader from the relevant organisation as they can be recycled.
African Children’s Choir will perform at Wellington Presbyterian Church on Friday 18 September at 7.30 pm. Tickets: £5 (Adult); £2 (Children) available from Faith Mission Bookshop and Wellington Presbyterian. All proceeds including a free-will offering on the evening will go to help needy children in Africa.
Alpha – explore the meaning of life. We plan to hold an Alpha Course in High Kirk commencing on 30th September for 10 weeks. Please come along and bring a friend. Speak to Ken Revie or Lorraine McAllister for further information.
