High Kirk Community Playgroup provides a quality learning environment for the pre-school child. 

Our Playgroup is registered with Homefirst and N.I.P.P.A.
It starts at 9:10am and finishes at 12:10pm.

Activities:

What do the children learn at playgroup?

  • How to develop relationships and respect for other children and adults.
  • Build confidence, independence and self-disipline to enable them to make their own choices.
  • Develop at their own rate through stimulating, progressive play.
  • Learn to express themselves and be creative through many different areas of curriculum - e.g. Role play, books, drama, singing, music, science and the natural world.

Special Features:

Visits by various people e.g.:- Policeman/woman, Nurse, Fireman, Dentist, Photographer.

Visits by various animals e.g.:- Birds, lambs, puppies, chickens, rabbits.

Occasional Outings and Parties.

 

Above all, we aim for all our children to have fun at playgroup for it is then that they learn most effectively.
