How do I download the Sermons? PDF Print E-mail
How you download and use the sermons will depend on which type of computer and Internet browser you are using as well as whether you wish to load the sermon onto a MP3 player.  Here we will explain.
If you just want to manually bring the sermon down onto your computer then you can do so as follows

  •     for a PC: Right-Click on the title link
  •     or a Mac: Option-Click on the title link
Then, depending on your browser as follows:
  •     Internet Explorer: Select 'Save Target As...'
  •     Netscape, Firefox, Mozilla: Select 'Save Link As...'
  •     Safari: Click on the link and you will be offered the option to save the file.

You can save the file anywhere on your computer but it is often better to save it to the same folder as other MP3 files are stored in so that you know where to look for it.

Now that you have the file on your computer you can choose how you use it.  Double click on the file to listen to it on your computer.  To copy it onto your MP3 player you will need to follow the instructions that come with your device. Sometimes this just involves copying it across.  For an Apple device you would need to add the file into iTunes (File-> Add file to Library)and then Sync with your MP3 player.

Podcasting

Podcasting is a name used to describe the process of being able to get new MP3 files automatically without having to go through the manual process above. All modern media players allow you to subscribe to a podcast.  For your convenience we have supplied a link that you can use. If you click on the 'Full Feed' link then you will be taken to a page where you are asked if you want to subscribe.  If you copy the information from the address bar into your clipboard (highlight it all and then press CTRL+C).  In your media software request the 'Subscribe to Podcast' option (under the advanced menu in iTunes) and paste the link (CTRL+V).  You can then change your settings to say how often you want to check for new sermons.

If you use iTunes then you can click on the 'Podcast' icon and iTunes will subscribe you automatically, alternatively you can find the Podcast by searching the iTunes Store or by clicking here.

If you would like to associate an image to your MP3 files then you can use this image.

iTunes

We would like to stress that our sermons can be used on any application or device with support for MP3 audio files.  However, we have made it easier for users of iTunes to subscribe to our podcast because this seems to be the most widely used of all the applications.  We would be happy to  include instructions for other devices and software if you need us to.  If you don't currently have iTunes then you can get it for free at this link http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
