Morning Services at 9.30am and 11.30am (Just one service at 10.30am July-August)

Evening Worship at 6.30pm

On Sunday morning we have 2 identical services at 9.30am and 11.30am so that we can accommodate everyone who wishes to attend.  The service has a mix of modern songs and hymns and a musical accompaniment. The service lasts for approximately one hour and there are creche facilities available and a Sunday School. Crèche is available for the whole service. Sunday School is for children aged 4-14 who go out after our praise and before the actual sermon begins.

Tea and coffee is served between the services so that people can stay and chat if they wish to.  During this time Awaken, for young people in years 11-14 (ages 15-18), meets in the Youth Hall.

Services of Baptism or of Thanksgiving usually take place at one of these services. Over the summer months (July-August) we only have one service at 10.30am.

At 5:45pm we have a prayer meeting before the evening service which is at 6:30pm.

At all of our services there is usually a full worship band together with a singing group who lead us in a variety of modern and less traditional worship songs.

7o'clock club: an alternative church service for children of primary age where they participate, under supervision, in various activities including teaching and crafts. The purpose is to teach them about God in their language.

The evening service ends about 7:45pm.

A time of ministry takes place at the end of the service when worshippers are encouraged to come for prayer.

Ignite then meets for teenagers from Form 2 upwards and gives them a chance to discuss relevant issues in the light of Bible teaching. This group usually finishes around 10:00pm.

This completes the busy Sunday schedule in High Kirk; a schedule which offers something to suit all age groups and tastes in a 21st century church.

All services make use of an Induction Loop system which enables people with hearing aids to switch the aid to the 'T' setting to be able to hear the services clearly.
