Journeys PDF Print E-mail

A 5 week course looking at 'Exploring faith in the 21st century.'

Journeys looks at some foundational aspects of faith, primarily through the eyes and lives of people who have experienced its power and influence over their lives. It is structered in an informal way where the attendees meet to have tea/coffee and some tray bakes or a dessert before watching a 15 minute DVD presentation followed by a group chat.

Each session is presented by a New Zealander called Rob Harley who is a journalist and produced a television series, Extreme Close Up, which has been aired on some Sky TV channels.

The course deals with the questions that people who are looking into the Christian faith from a modern-day culture most commonly want to know more about.

  1. Is there a spriritual side to me?
  2. If God and heaven exist, what are they like?
  3. Does this faith thing work in real life?
  4. Does God have real power to change things?
  5. Crossing the line - what's that like?
