our Lord builds us up as Christians and also provides years. We have come through lots of changes but
a strong message to unbelievers. One of my favourite nothing is better than singing our praises to the Lord
things about joining the choir has been meeting the who never changes. Singing for us is just an extended

Being part of a choir who lead the congregation
in praising God is a privilege and joy. Hearing the
congregation singing along to hymns like “How Great
Thou Art†or “In Christ Alone†is spiritually uplifting
and strengthening, even after the most difficult week.â€

“I first joined the choir in the mid 80’s and remained
heavily involved in the music ministry until I had my
family. After serving in other areas such as crèche and
Sunday school, I felt compelled a couple of years ago
that it was the right time to re-join the choir. It is
a tremendous privilege to have the friendship,
fellowship and support of such an eclectic group of
people of all ages. Having a common focus of praising
our God and a passion for worship and singing, makes
it a very blessed and exciting time to be part of High
Kirk choir.â€
