What struck me was the personal touch each

and openness translated into the room and
within our pods there was such a sense of
togetherness and a willingness to take the

This freedom was led from the front; the team
of guys who organized the weekend not only As always, the weekend was brought to a

were to be our key speakers for the sessions. This held such significance, a physical reminder
For me this made the content all the more of Christ’s sacrifice, a reminder that His blood

Philip led a Friday evening session on freedom
in prayer, Saturday sessions lead by Andrew Kenny Gregg
and Clifford focused on freedom from sin and
desiring God over sinful nature and finally
Sunday morning Ken facilitated an open mic
session allowing different guys to share their
own experiences and stories with the group.
Each session also had practical advice and the
opportunity to meditate on what was said alone
            and in silence.
