Martin Delaney is seeking to reach our local community, all of it, with this

practical ministry and looking to make relational contacts with people
through simple home visits carrying out odd jobs…

the Oasis which is a time when there
A TIME TO SEEK GOD
is the open space given to find God, a

time of freedom, intimacy, prayer and
waiting before God…

“Open space is exactly what it’s called, a space to come and meet with
God. A space where worship is free from constraints, where there is no set
agenda or formula other than honest and open fellowship with our Father.
For me it has been a real source of refuge and encouragement.” Kenny

“It’s just what I need to refocus on God at the end of a busy week and find
rest in Him. The atmosphere is so free and it really helps me meet with
God and hear what he’s saying.” Jonny

Embrac e

Has been an offshoot of both Café Church and Learning
Support where a group of mainly Romanians gather to dwell on
the word of God with High Kirk folks leading them through the
scriptures…

As you may have seen in the weekly bulletin there is a notice
stating that “Embrace” meets in the Oasis at 11:30am on Sundays.

“Embrace” is a Bible study mainly for people that have come from
various countries who wish to learn about Jesus. They have been KEN’S ANNU AL REP OR T - 2017
meeting for a few months now, led by Bill Shields and Martin
Delaney. We have open discussions on Biblical matters of interest.
This is what Doru who attends regularly says, “I attend Embrace
because I have made good friends and I like the discussions and I
learn something new. I like coming to the church”.
