Let’s celebrate our togetherness when we May the new normal be a time of blessing,
meet again. The togetherness in our diversity
of being dierent kinds of people, of dierent
ages, with dierent backgrounds, with
dierent personalities and with dierent
interests. Yet we are bound together by the
Holy Spirit in a common belief that Jesus
is our saviour. As lockdown eases let us
celebrate our togetherness as never before.
While we may not be able to hug or even
shake hands for a while, may we look at one
another with a new appreciation as part of
the body of Jesus Christ. May we not take
each other for granted but look upon one
another through eyes of Christian love.
May we use the opportunity to get to know
someone new. May we use the new season as
a time to serve in a new capacity and to ask
for new gifting to do this.
growing deeper into serving Jesus and with a
new appreciation of what it means to be part
of a body of people who believe and trust in
Jesus as the hope of the world. I certainly am
hoping that new people will come to church
seeking for meaning and for some good news
as this time of virus has caused people to
re˜ect upon the meaning of life. In our
new normal let us pray and look for new
opportunities for the church of Jesus Christ
to grow even as it did in the book of Acts.
