Proverbs 27:17 says that “as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”.

The goal for Forged is to create an environment where the men in our church, regardless of age, can encourage, influence, inspire and support one another in our journey of faith, and know that we are not alone when we’re facing the storms, challenges and temptations in our lives.

In ‘Forged’ we recognise that it’s important for us to facilitate an environment where the men in our church can build healthy relationships with one another.

Over the past year we have organised events where men have the opportunity to come together to get to know one another and build relationships. We have held a Curry Night, where thoughts and ideas were shared for future events, a Dessert Night, where we interviewed a panel of men from different generations on what it means to be a Christian man at their stage of life. We have also enjoyed a night out at an Ulster Rugby match and recently heard Dr Andrew Collins from Biblical Counselling UK speak to us about mental health. If you were unable to attend, or wish to watch it again, please click on the link below or watch directly.
