This Sunday morning we begin a new Autumn series as we consider the Gospel of John.
We are calling the series Signs of Life as it contains seven miracles, or “signs” as John calls them, and all of these signs point to life that we find in Jesus.
Near the end of the Gospel John also tells us the reason for writing his gospel – “these words are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
May we enter into the fullness of life which God has for us as we open ourselves afresh to the unique Jesus, the Word who became flesh for us.
